Quick Troubleshooting
Previously isn’t capturing my screen
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording
- Make sure Previously is checked/enabled
- Restart Previously
Search isn’t finding what I’m looking for
- Try different keywords or phrases
- Check if the app was in your exclusion list
- Make sure the content was captured during your retention period
- For semantic search: ensure you’ve enabled AI features
The app is using too much storage
- Open Previously Settings
- Reduce your retention period (7, 14, 30 days)
- Lower capture quality if needed
- Click “Clean Up” to remove old captures
